University of Abuja Receives Donation of Alhaji Lai Mohammed’s Latest Book

The University of Abuja has received copies of the recently published book by former Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, in a gesture aimed at enriching the institution’s library resources.

Titled Headlines and Soundbites: Media Moments that Defined an Administration, the book offers a scholarly insider’s perspective on governance, communication, and nation-building. According to Mohammed, it provides behind-the-scenes accounts of how key national policies were conceived, defended, and communicated during his tenure, covering the complexities of managing information, cultural development, tourism, and national organisation over eight years.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the University, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, commended Mohammed for his contribution to society and assured that the University would make full use of the book to support research, teaching, and academic development.
