University of Abuja Strengthens Partnership with Chartered Institute of Forensics

The University of Abuja has taken a significant step towards enhancing its academic and professional offerings by partnering with the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN).

The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mathew Adamu, hosted a delegation from CIFCFIN, led by its President and Chairman of the Governing Council, Dr. Ilyasu B. Gashinbaki.

Professor Mathew Adamu was appointed as the Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University of Abuja in August 2025, succeeding Professor Patricia Manko Lar. His tenure is expected to last for three months, during which he will oversee the University's operations and work towards appointing a substantive Vice-Chancellor.
