University of Lagos Extends Deadline for 2025/2026 Accommodation Ballotin

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has extended the application window for hostel accommodation for the 2025/2026 academic session by one week. Applications will now close at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, November 27, 2025, with the balloting exercise for bed space allocation scheduled for Friday, November 28, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students from 200 to 500 level who have completed course registration for the 1st Semester, 2025/2026 academic session.
- Students must be within the regular duration of their respective programmes.
Application Process:
- Eligible students must apply through their student portals for hostel accommodation within the designated application window, after completing course registration.
Allocation Criteria:
- Bed spaces will be allocated randomly via a balloting system among all eligible applicants once the application window closes.
Important Dates:
- Application End Date: 11:59 p.m., Thursday, November 27, 2025
- Balloting Date: Friday, November 28, 2025
- Movement into Halls of Residence: Wednesday, December 3, 2025
Important Notes:
- Students residing in El-Kannemi Hall 2, Gbajabiamila, UNILAG Women Society (ULWS), and other designated hostels are not eligible for the balloting exercise.
- The Student Affairs Division maintains the list of students in these hostels, and any violation will result in referral to the Students’ Disciplinary Board for social misconduct.
All eligible students are advised to comply strictly with the guidelines and deadlines to secure accommodation.
