University of Maiduguri Debunks Closure Rumors

The University of Maiduguri has issued an official statement dismissing rumors of an extended closure until next year.

In a notice to all students, the university management assured that the institution will resume soon, contrary to circulating misinformation.

"We urge students to disregard the false rumors and rely solely on official communication channels for accurate updates," said Hafiz Mohammed Bello, President of the Government College of University of Maiduguri Students' Union (GCUS SUG).

The university management has reassured students that they will be informed of the resumption date in due course.

Official Statement:

"The University of Maiduguri wishes to inform all students that the rumors of closure until next year are entirely false and without basis. We will keep you updated on the resumption date through official channels. Thank you for your understanding."
