University of Maiduguri Mourns Passing of Distinguished Scholar and Statesman

The University of Maiduguri is mourning the loss of Professor Jibrin Aminu, a renowned scholar and statesman who passed away on June 5, 2025.

Professor Aminu served as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri from 1980 to 1985, laying a solid foundation for academic excellence and institutional growth.
