In male hockey, the Desert Warriors secured a narrow 1–0 victory over the University of Jos, before delivering a stunning 12–1 win against Bayero University, Kano (BUK).
The male handball team also showcased dominance, defeating the University of Jos 17–4. In football, UNIMAID maintained an unbeaten streak with a solid 2–0 victory over Aliko Dangote University, Wudil.
The volleyball teams experienced mixed results. The UNIMAID Spikers (male) overpowered Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, 3–0, while the UNIMAID Queens (female) were defeated 0–3 by the Federal University of Technology, Owerri.

In female hockey, UNIMAID narrowly lost 0–1 to the University of Jos in a closely contested match.
Overall, the UNIMAID delegation has demonstrated resilience and skill across the games, reflecting the university’s growing strength in inter-university sports. The teams remain optimistic about adding more medals as the competition continues.
