The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), Professor Simon Uchenna Ortuanya, SID, FCIArb, FCIA, has officially announced the 236th Inaugural Lecture, reinforcing the university’s tradition of providing distinguished professors a platform to share their research contributions with both the academic community and the public.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Linda Oge Okoye, a leading expert in Restorative Dentistry at UNN.

Lecture Topic: “Beyond the Smile: The Myth, the Truth and the Control of Tooth Decay”

The presentation will delve into the science of tooth decay, debunk common myths surrounding dental health, highlight scientific truths about oral diseases, and outline effective preventive strategies to control tooth decay. This lecture aims to promote oral health awareness and provide actionable insights for preventive dental care.
