The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the University of Uyo (UNIUYO), through the Office of the Director of Academics, has issued an urgent directive to address delays in course uploads on the university portal.

The move ensures that students are not disadvantaged in the ongoing semester.

The memorandum, signed by Miracle Victor Etim, Director of Academics, explained that certain departments and units have not uploaded some courses on the portal. As a result, an alternative registration procedure has been approved for affected students.

Steps for Alternative Registration:

  1. Print the current e-registration course form from the university portal.
  2. Manually tick or mark the courses for the current semester on the printed form.
  3. Submit the annotated form to the School Portal Unit at the Town Campus for manual registration.

Students are reminded that failure to register courses for any semester will result in an automatic carryover for the affected course(s).

The directive is effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice from the university management or the Directorate of Academics. Class representatives are tasked with ensuring that this information reaches all students within their departments.
