University of Uyo Appoints New Dean and Vice Dean of Students

The University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has announced the appointment of Professor Kingsley Udofia of the Faculty of Engineering as the new Dean of Students.

A distinguished figure in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Professor Udofia is nationally and internationally recognized for his extensive research contributions and numerous publications.

In a simultaneous appointment, Dr. Iniubong Ansa, Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Natural Resources Management, Faculty of Social Sciences, has been named Vice Dean of Students. Dr. Ansa specializes in Development Economics and Environmental Management, focusing on socio-economic development, governance, and sustainable access to essential services.

The Students’ Union has called on all members of the Tuskers Republic to congratulate the new leadership and provide their full support as they take on their roles in promoting student welfare and academic excellence.
