UNIZIK Introduces New Campus Service Charges

The Management of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK), Awka, has rolled out new service charge regulations for printing, photocopying, and related campus services, following an internal memo from the Directorate of Business Ventures and Consultancy Services dated August 21, 2025.

The approved pricing structure is as follows:

• ₦50 per page for photocopying with electricity
• ₦70 per page for photocopying without electricity
• ₦100 per page for black-and-white printing (with or without electricity)
• ₦200 per page for coloured printing on white paper (with or without electricity)
• Negotiable rates for picture or image coloured printing
• ₦300 per page for typing
• ₦300 per bottle of water
• ₦100 POS withdrawal fee per ₦5,000

All computer business centres and operators are required to adhere strictly to these prices with immediate effect, with noncompliance attracting sanctions, according to Dr. Ikemna Uba, Director of UBVC Services.

The new regulations aim to standardize services and ensure fair pricing across the university community.
