UNN Announces Opening of NELFUND Portal for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has issued a notice informing students that the Federal Government has officially opened the National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The announcement, conveyed through the University’s NELFUND Desk Office by Chijioke Chimezie Victor, DCEO and Desk Officer, invites eligible undergraduate students to apply for financial support.

According to the notice, all applications must be completed and submitted electronically via the NELFUND portal at www.nelf.gov.ng. Students have been urged to leverage the scheme to secure funding for their academic programmes.

The communication, copied to key offices including the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellors (Administration, Academic, and Enugu Campus), Registrar, Bursar, University Librarian, Dean of Student Affairs, Director of ICT, and Public Relations Officer, reinforces the University’s commitment to ensuring students receive timely access to government-backed financial aid.
