Usmanu Danfodiyo University Debate Club Unveils Winners of Second Edition

The University Debate Club (UDC) at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, has announced the winners of its second edition awards for the best male and female speakers, as well as the best adjudicator for the first semester.

The winners were determined through a voting process, with the public casting their votes for their preferred candidates.

Sebiotimo Abdullateef of Hippocrates Chamber emerged as the best male speaker, securing 259 votes, equivalent to 60.4% of the total votes cast. Yusuf Aisha Ayomide of Amina Silo's Chamber won the best female speaker award with 164 votes, accounting for 32% of the total votes. Umar Maryam Ayomide of Amina Ilo's Chamber was recognized as the best adjudicator, garnering 43 votes, or 54.4% of the total votes.

The UDC congratulated the winners and encouraged the nominees to continue striving for excellence in debating.
