Venite University reached a significant milestone on March 5, 2026, as it formally matriculated 406 students during its third historic ceremony. This year’s intake marks the highest enrolment in the institution’s history, signaling a new era of rapid growth and academic credibility.

The event attracted a high-profile assembly of the academic community, including Vice-Chancellors from Ekiti State University (EKSU), Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Landmark University, and several other notable institutions.

In her address, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charity O. Aremu, emphasized the university's commitment to "Disciplina, Notitia, Industria, and Ingenium" (Discipline, Knowledge, Industry, and Ingenuity). She highlighted the university’s recent achievements, including the National Universities Commission (NUC) approval of 48 academic programmes and strategic partnerships with global tech giants like Microsoft and Cisco.

"We are focused on innovative teaching, expanding translational research, and driving digitalisation," Prof. Aremu stated. She urged the matriculants to view their journey as more than just an academic pursuit, but as a period to build character and problem-solving capacity for a global market.

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Professor Olabisi Aina, commended the students for joining the institution at a pivotal moment, encouraging them to be "pioneers of purpose." The ceremony concluded with a formal oath-taking, as the 406 students pledged to uphold the values and reputation of Venite University.
