The Nigerian Universities Commission( NUC), has reiterated its commitment to ensure that quality academic programmes are approved for Nigerian Universities, Myschoolnews gathered.
The team leader of the NUC, Prof. Jude Emeka Madu made the assertion on Wednesday, 29th November, 2023 when some NUC officials from Abuja paid a courtesy call on the Management of University of Delta, Agbor.
Prof. Madu said that their visit to UNIDEL was not for fault finding but to critically and professionally access the availability of teaching and learning materials in departments of Law and Philosophy which are under- going accreditation.
The academic Don noted that his team will continue to give UNIDEL pertinent advice for proper coordination and development of the institution.
The Vice Chancellor of UNIDEL, Prof Stella Chiemeke while welcoming the team said the University was upgraded from the defunct College of Education Agbor in 2021.
She commended NUC for its tremendous contributions and support towards the rapid growth of UNIDEL.
