Yobe State University SUG Institutionalizes Weekly Hostel Sanitation to Boost Student Welfare

In a bid to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility, the 2024/2025 administration under the leadership of Comrade Yunusa Barde Abdullahi former S.U.G President, introduced a weekly hostel sanitation exercise.

The initiative designates Saturdays and Sundays as official S.U.G General Hostel Sanitation days, with the President and his loyalists Rt Abdallah Hamza Ahmad Mahmud Maimalari and others personally leading the exercise. Hostel residents, both male and female, actively participate in cleaning their surroundings, fostering a culture of hygiene, unity, and collective responsibility within the university community.
