The Vice-Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Professor Mrs. Eunice E. Omonzejie, has officially announced the Senate-approved adjusted academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session.

All students and staff are advised to take note of the following key dates:

Key Dates – 2025/2026 Academic Session:

New Students:

  • Sunday, 8th February 2026: Arrival of new students on campus
  • Monday, 9th February 2026: Continuation of clearance/registration of courses for new students
  • Wednesday, 11th February 2026: Orientation of new students
  • Wednesday, 25th February 2026: Matriculation of new students

Returning Students:

  • Thursday, 12th February 2026: Old students resume
  • Friday, 13th February 2026: Course registration for all students; lectures commence
  • Thursday, 26th February 2026: End of course registration for all students
  • Friday, 27th February 2026 – Monday, 16th March 2026: Late course registration

First Semester:

  • Tuesday, 17th March 2026: Continuous assessment for all students
  • Wednesday, 22nd April 2026: End of first semester lectures

Second Semester:

  • Sunday, 7th June 2026: Students resume on campus
  • Monday, 8th June 2026: Registration of second semester courses; lectures commence
  • Monday, 22nd June 2026: End of late course registration
  • Monday, 13th July 2026: Continuous assessment for all students
  • Saturday, 15th August 2026: End of second semester lectures
  • Friday, 21st August – Saturday, 26th September 2026: Second semester examinations (starting with GST and ENT courses)

Examination Review and Session Closure:

  • Wednesday, 28th October 2026: Faculty Board Examiners meet to consider results
  • Monday, 2nd – Wednesday, 3rd November 2026: Business Committee of Senate meets to consider results
  • Wednesday, 11th – Friday, 13th November 2026: Senate meeting to consider results and formally end the academic session
