Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, has issued a notice clarifying that the Statement of Result given to graduates at the point of graduation should not be regarded as an official document.
According to the University, the document is correctly called a Notification of Final Degree Examination and serves only as a temporary confirmation of graduation status.
The University advised all graduates who are still holding on to the statement without applying for their official certificate to begin the process immediately. The official degree certificate, the management stressed, remains the only recognized and permanent proof of graduation.

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of ₦48,300, excluding café or service charges, through the portal at https://aaue-alumni.waeup.org/. Processing of the certificate typically takes two to three months, allowing time for verification and completion of all formal procedures.
The institution reiterated that the degree certificate is a confidential and authoritative document, and graduates are expected to secure it without delay.
