  1. Faculty of Agriculture – 3 students (1%)
  2. Faculty of Art – 21 students (9%)
  3. Faculty of Basic Medical Science – 59 students (24%)
  4. Faculty of Clinical Science – 16 students (7%)
  5. Faculty of Education – 17 students (7%)
  6. Faculty of Engineering and Technology – 39 students (16%)
  7. Faculty of Environmental Science – 3 students (1%)
  8. Faculty of Law – 26 students (11%)
  9. Faculty of Life Science – 14 students (6%)
  10. Faculty of Management Science – 14 students (6%)
  11. Faculty of Physical Science – 14 students (6%)
  12. Faculty of Social Science – 14 students (6%)

The report indicates that over 99% of eligible students at the university are yet to apply for the loan. Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Olowo Samuel, has instructed the ICT Directorate to provide necessary support to ensure all students can benefit from the scheme.

Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity, as the NELFUND loan is aimed at providing financial assistance for the completion of their academic programmes. An updated report will be released on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
