Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has taken a significant step towards addressing the housing needs of its staff by approaching the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) for support.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Adamu Ahmed met with FMBN's Managing Director, Shehu Usman Osidi, to discuss challenges faced by the university's in-house unions in accessing mortgage facilities for staff housing.

The Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria is the apex mortgage finance institution in the country, responsible for developing and regulating primary mortgage originators and managing the National Housing Fund.
