Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Students Urged to Complete SIWES Registration

The Industrial Training and Coordinating Unit (ITCU) at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, has called on students from the Faculty of Engineering and Engineering Technology and Faculty of Environmental Technology who are due for SIWES II to complete their registration.

The registration process is available via the normal registration portal, and students will gain access to print their Industrial Training (IT) letters after registration. The IT letters must be submitted to their respective placement organizations.

The Industrial Training is scheduled for 8-10 weeks for second-year students and six months for fourth-year students. The closing date for the submission of the Letter of Acceptance is July 7, 2025. Students who fail to comply with this directive within the stipulated period will face severe penalties.

The ITCU emphasizes the importance of SIWES in providing students with practical experience and bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.
