Adamawa State Deputy Governor Advocates for Cordial Relationship Between ADSU Management and Unions

Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, has called for a harmonious working relationship between the management of Adamawa State University (ADSU), Mubi, and the university's unions to achieve desired results.

She made this appeal while hosting a delegation of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), ADSU chapter, led by its Chairperson, Bifam Yakubu.

The Deputy Governor emphasized that persistent conflicts between unions and management can be counterproductive and urged the union to adopt dialogue and mutual understanding to resolve disputes. She appreciated the visit, which acknowledged the developmental strides of the Governor Fintiri-led administration in the institution, and encouraged the union to prioritize peaceful resolution of issues for progress.

The SSANU officials, in their visit, expressed gratitude for the positive changes in the university and commended Governor Fintiri for prioritizing education and appointing a Vice Chancellor from within the institution. They pledged their support for the state government and the new university management in rebuilding and transforming the university.
