ADSU Clears Major Hurdle, Approved To Admit Law Students

Adamawa State University, Mubi, ADSU, has secured approval to admit students into its Bachelor of Laws, LL.B, programme, opening a new pathway for aspiring lawyers in the state.

The university is among institutions listed in the latest August 2026 approval by the Council of Legal Education, the statutory body responsible for regulating professional legal education in Nigeria.

The approval marks a significant milestone for ADSU and for Adamawa’s education sector, bringing university-level legal education closer to young people in the state.

With the approval, aspiring law students in Adamawa now have a home-grown opportunity to begin their journey towards the legal profession without leaving the state.

The introduction of the LL.B programme is expected to increase access to legal education, produce more legal professionals for the state, and contribute to the development of the justice sector in the region.
