ADUN Soars Under New Leadership, Vice Chancellor's Initiatives Boost Infrastructure and Staff Welfare

Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN) is undergoing a significant transformation under the leadership of its new Vice Chancellor, Professor Christopher Ndubuisi Ogbogbo. 

In a recent town hall meeting, Professor Ogbogbo highlighted a range of achievements from his first six months in office, with a strong focus on infrastructure development and staff well-being.

During the meeting, the Vice Chancellor announced that ADUN has secured over N1 billion in infrastructural donations since he assumed office in March 2025. This substantial funding is set to improve campus facilities and create a world-class learning environment.

The new administration has already launched key projects, including the installation of solar streetlights on campus and in the neighboring communities of Ibusa and Ogwashi-Uku, along with the construction of new buildings for principal officers.

In a move to prioritize staff welfare, Professor Ogbogbo detailed plans to ensure timely promotions for qualified staff. Additionally, he announced the introduction of significant rebates for staff pursuing postgraduate studies and for those with children enrolled at the university.

The Vice Chancellor also emphasized the importance of aligning the university's code of conduct with civil service regulations and global best practices, reflecting ADUN's new status as a federal institution. 

He added that the university is actively recruiting top-tier senior lecturers and professors to ensure academic excellence.
