ADUSTECH Vice-Chancellor Leads IFPRI Delegation on Strategic Visit to Gaya Emirate Council

Prof. Musa Tukur Yakasai (SARKIN KUDUN GAYA), Vice Chancellor Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, Kano, led a delegation from the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) on a courtesy visit to Gaya Emirate Council.

The IFPRI delegation was headed by Dr. Bedru B. Balana and team members, Dr. Olivia H. and Dr. Hyacinth Edeh.

The visit was to pay homage to Emir of Gaya and providing an update on the progress of ongoing collaborative projects between IFPRI and ADUSTECH, Wudil Kano.

Among the projects highlighted include the Gender, Climate, and Nutrition Integration Project, as well as the Irrigation Technology Suitability Mapping Tools Project, both of which are designed to enhance agricultural development and sustainability in the region.

The delegation emphasized the importance of continued collaboration in addressing food security, climate challenges, and sustainable development within the community.
