ADUSTECH Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Musa Tukur Yakasai, Returns to Kano Following Bereavement

The Vice-Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai, has returned to Kano State from Saudi Arabia following the passing of his stepmother.

The deceased passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, while the Vice-Chancellor was away in the Holy Land.

According to a statement released on Wednesday, March 18, by his Media Aide, Sen. Sani Mahamoud Tajo Gaya, Professor Yakasai’s return is to allow him to join family members and receive condolences from friends, colleagues, and well-wishers during this period of mourning.

The University community has expressed its deep sympathy to the Vice-Chancellor and his family. Prayers have been offered for the repose of the soul of the departed, asking Almighty Allah to grant her Jannatul Firdausi and provide the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
