The Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Kabiru Bala, emphasized the need for law libraries to adapt to the digital age during the 47th National Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Nigerian Association of Law Librarians (NALL).

Prof. Bala, represented by Dr. Abdulhamid Gambo Liman, noted that the advent of online databases and electronic resources has revolutionized legal research, presenting new challenges in accessibility, authenticity, and affordability. He stressed that law libraries must remain relevant and accessible to all, embracing technology while preserving timeless values.

The conference, themed "Prompt Diversity and Inclusiveness through Innovative Law Library and Information Service Delivery in Nigeria," featured keynote speeches and presentations on topics such as sustainable access to law library services, managing staff diversity, and leveraging generative AI for enhanced services.
