Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua, has released an official advertisement inviting qualified candidates to apply for its National Diploma (ND) in Law for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to information from the Office of the Acting Registrar, Mr. Godswill E. Udofah, MNIM, the institution will conduct a screening exercise for all eligible applicants.
Eligibility Requirements
- Candidates must have chosen Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic as their first choice in the 2025 UTME.
- A minimum UTME score of 120 is required.
- Applicants must possess at least five O’ Level credits in relevant subjects, obtained in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2025.
Application Procedure

Visit the Polytechnic’s website at
https://www.akwaibompoly.edu.ng
Select Online Application and generate an invoice (RRR) using:- JAMB Registration Number
- Phone Number
- Name

Proceed to any commercial bank in Nigeria to purchase an electronic application PIN for N2,000 (inclusive of bank charges).

Upload WAEC/NECO results on both the JAMB portal and the Polytechnic’s portal.

Use the purchased PIN to access the application form via the school website, complete the form, submit it, then download and print the acknowledgement slip.
Required Documents For Screening
Candidates are to present themselves at the Department of Law with the following:
- Photocopy of JAMB slip with passport photograph
- JAMB online result
- Relevant academic credentials
- Valid scratch card for WAEC and/or NECO result verification
The closing date for the application is 5th December 2025.
