Until his elevation, Dr. Obonguko served as Head of the Department of Software and Web Development, where he earned recognition for his administrative efficiency, academic discipline, and commitment to advancing technological education.
According to the Polytechnic management, the appointment reflects his consistent contributions to institutional growth, as well as his proven capacity in academic leadership and departmental development.

In his new position, Dr. Obonguko is expected to provide strategic direction for the School of Applied Sciences, with a focus on improving academic standards, deepening innovation-driven learning, and enhancing performance across all departments under the faculty.
