Al-Ansar University Resumes Academic Activities After Flood-Induced Hiatus

Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri, has announced the resumption of academic activities effective Monday, September 23, 2024.

According to a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar, the decision follows improvements in the flooding situation that previously affected parts of Maiduguri Metropolis and access to the university.

The university's Senate approved the resumption, paving the way for the continuation of the suspended second-semester examinations. Students are expected to report back to campus and prepare for the remaining exams, scheduled to commence on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

Registrar Malam Bukar Usman, FCIA, F. inst. A.M., confirmed that exams will proceed according to the approved timetable.
