ASR Africa Initiates Construction of World-Class Research Laboratory for Federal University, Lokoja

The Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa) has commenced the construction of a cutting-edge research laboratory for the Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State. This initiative is part of ASR Africa's ongoing commitment to enhancing tertiary education in Nigeria, funded by its US$100 million Fund for Social Development and Renewal.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the ASR Central Research Laboratory took place recently, with key figures including Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, the Vice Chancellor of the University, expressing gratitude to ASR Africa for their generous support. Prof. Akinwumi emphasized the laboratory's potential to address infrastructure deficits and foster advancements in research, particularly in the fields of physical and life sciences.

Dr. Ubon Udoh, the Managing Director/CEO of ASR Africa, reiterated the chairman's dedication to promoting quality education in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
