ATBU Announces 2025 Academic and Non-Teaching Staff Recruitment

The management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi has announced the commencement of its 2025 Academic and Non-Teaching Staff recruitment exercise, inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for various vacant positions across the University’s faculties and departments.

According to the internal and external advertisement released by the University, the application portal officially opens on Monday, October 6, 2025, and will close on Saturday, November 15, 2025 six weeks from the date of publication. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply early via the University’s recruitment portal at recruitment.atbu.edu.ng.

The available academic positions include Senior Lecturer (CONUASS/CONMESS 05), Lecturer I (CONUASS/CONMESS 04), Lecturer II (CONUASS/CONMESS 03), and Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS/CONMESS 02). The non-teaching positions include Laboratory Technologist I (CONTISS 08) and Laboratory Technologist II (CONTISS 07).

Vacancies cut across several faculties, including the Faculty of Computing, Environmental Technology, Science, Veterinary Medicine, Clinical Sciences, Basic Clinical Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, and Allied Medical Sciences, as well as the Dairy Research and Development Centre**.

Applicants are required to possess relevant academic qualifications, cognate experience, and professional certifications as applicable to their fields.
