ATBU Management Announces Temporary Disconnection of Electricity Supply

The Management of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) has announced that the electricity supply to its Yelwa and Gubi campuses has been temporarily disconnected.

According to a statement released by the Registrar, Kabiru Garba Aminu, the disconnection occurred on Thursday, January 30, 2025, resulting in a lack of electricity supply to both campuses.

The University Management is actively engaging with Jos Electricity Distribution Plc to restore normal power supply as soon as possible. In the meantime, the Management appeals to staff and students to exercise patience and understanding during this temporary disruption.

The University is working diligently to resolve the issue and minimize the impact on academic and administrative activities.
