ATBU Students Participate in Fire Safety Awareness Campaign

The Students' Union Government of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), in collaboration with the Federal Fire Service, organized a fire safety awareness campaign for students and staff.

 

The well-attended event covered essential topics, including fire and evacuation drills, types of fire, proper fire extinguisher operation, and basic first aid skills. Certified trainers from the Federal Fire Service led the session, which included a practical simulation exercise.

The campaign aimed to educate participants on the importance of safety and responsibility in case of fires, empowering them with life-saving skills to respond effectively in emergency situations. By acquiring these skills, individuals can survive potentially dangerous situations until medically trained personnel arrive.
