Auchi Polytechnic Launches Transportation Welfare Initiative for Staff and Students

The Management of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, has announced the commencement of a transportation welfare program to ease commuting for staff and students, effective Monday, 9th February 2026.

Low-fare buses will operate across designated routes as outlined below:

1. Igbira Camp Route (Fare: ₦300)

Morning Schedule (7:15 AM)

• Pick-up Points: City College Junction, Braimah Filling Station, Rainoil Filling Station, Paulosa Junction, Up Garage, AP Filling Station, Royal Block.
• Drop Points: Eboreime Market (Campus 1), Security Post (Campus 3), School of Applied Sciences (Campus 2 Extension), Idogho Market (Campus 2 - Terminal Point).

Evening Schedule (4:20 PM)

• Take-off: Idogho Market (Campus 2)
• Route: Picks up at morning drop points, returns to morning pick-up points.

2. Jattu Route (Fare: ₦200)

Morning Schedule (7:15 AM)

• Pick-up Points: Utukwe Junction, NTA Junction, Iyukwu Junction (By Jattu Market), Hope Hospital Junction, Mr. Biggs.
• Drop Points: Polytechnic Main Gate, Security Post (Campus 3), School of Applied Sciences (Campus 2 Extension), Idogho Market (Campus 2 - Terminal Point).

• Take-off: Idogho Market (Campus 2)
• Route: Picks up at morning drop points/under the pedestrian bridge, returns to morning pick-up points.

3. Ibie-Nafe Route (Fare: ₦200)

• Pick-up Points: God's Delight Junction, Ibie-Nafe Central Mosque, Midlyn Pure Water Factory, Small London Junction, Iyakpi Central Mosque, Second Power Line Junction (By Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital).
• Drop Points: Polytechnic Main Gate, Security Post (Campus 3), School of Applied Sciences (Campus 2 Extension), Idogho Market (Campus 2 - Terminal Point).

• Drop Points: Idogho Market (Campus 2), School of Applied Sciences (Campus 2 Extension), Campus 3 (Security Post), Former School of Applied Sciences (Campus 1 - Terminal Point).
