Bandits Kidnap Fresh Graduate, Ismael Faruk, in Katsina State

The community of Faskari Local Government Area in Katsina State has been thrown into distress following the abduction of a fresh graduate, Ismael Faruk, by bandits this past Saturday. 

The incident has sparked widespread concern among residents and the academic community, highlighting the ongoing security challenges facing the region. Ismael, who had recently completed his studies, was reportedly taken in a sudden attack that has left his family and friends in deep trauma. 

A Call for Urgent Intervention

Social media has been flooded with tributes and prayers for his safe return, with many calling on security agencies to intensify efforts to track the kidnappers and ensure his unconditional release.

The kidnapping of young graduates, often at the start of their professional lives, remains a sobering reminder of the volatility in parts of the Northwest.
