FUKASHERE VC Pays Homage to Kashere Traditional Leaders in Familiarisation Tour
In a strategic move to strengthen town-and-gown relations, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Kashere (FUK), Professor Muhammad Inuwa Ja’afaru, has led the university’s management team on a high-level courtesy visit to the traditional leadership of the host community.
The visit, which formed part of the Vice-Chancellor’s ongoing familiarisation tour, included stops at the palaces of the District Heads of Kashere South and Kashere North.
Strengthening Community Ties
The primary objective of the tour was to reinforce the existing partnership between the University and the Kashere community. Professor Ja’afaru sought the royal blessings and continued support of the traditional rulers, emphasizing that the institution's growth is inextricably linked to the peace and cooperation of its hosts.
A Unified Vision for Growth
The traditional leaders welcomed the Vice-Chancellor and his team, expressing their commitment to providing a conducive environment for academic activities. This engagement underscores FUKashere's commitment to inclusive leadership and community-centric development.
