The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Bayero University Kano (BUK) has announced a breakthrough in addressing the pressing issue of water scarcity in the university's hostels. After submitting a proposal for a 24-hour water supply, the SUG President met with the Director of MSD to express the concerns and hardships faced by students.

The Director assured the President that the proposal has been approved and is currently being processed. The project is nearing completion, and the Director anticipates resolving the water scarcity issue by the end of the week.
