Be ready to go the extra mile to be celebrated- Retired NYSC Director charges corps members

The 2022 Batch ‘B’ Stream II corps members have been motivated to go the extra mile in their pursuit of excellence especially during the span of the service year. 

Myschoolnews reports this motivation was given to the corps members by retired NYSC Director, Mrs Victoria Abosede Okakwu during her visit to Paiko Orientation Camp, Niger state  today. 

Mrs Okakwu while addressing the corps members, advised  them never to relent in their quest to be outstanding individuals who contribute positively to nation building, noting that only people who put in the hard work are rewarded. 

She shared tips that enable corps members have an impactful service year which include actively participating in all camp activities, accepting their postings in good faith, avoiding unauthorized/night journeys, rather a  determination to make positive impacts in their respective places of prrimary assignments. 

The erstwhile director advised them to make the right choices during the service year as this will go a long way in determining who they become in future.
