Benue State University Hosts World Bank and NUC for ICT Facilities Upgrade Verification
Benue State University welcomed a verification team from AAU, World Bank, and NUC to assess and upgrade its ICT facilities to international standards.

Benue State University (BSU) welcomed a distinguished verification team today, comprising representatives from the Association of African Universities (AAU), World Bank African Centres of Excellence (ACE), and the National Universities Commission (NUC). The team conducted a thorough review of the university's ICT facilities for potential upgrades.
During the visit, Prof. Joe Tor Iorapuu FSONTA, Vice-Chancellor of BSU, expressed gratitude to the verification team for their initiative to assess the university's ICT infrastructure. He emphasized the importance of this upgrade and assured the team of the university’s commitment to collaboration for mutual benefit.
Prof. Iorapuu highlighted that the university management has decided to overhaul its ICT systems to meet international standards. This decision aligns with the university’s goal to enhance both staff and student experiences through improved technological facilities.
The ICT upgrade is expected to significantly bolster the university’s capabilities, facilitating better learning and administrative processes in line with global best practices.
