The management of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology (BOUESTI) has announced the schedule for the election of Hall of Residence executives, with the exercise set to hold on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

According to the notice issued to students, the screening of candidates seeking elective positions will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Prospective contestants are required to participate in the screening as part of the eligibility process ahead of the election.

The university also outlined the approved fees for interested candidates. Students contesting for the position of Hall Representative are to pay a fee of ₦5,000, while those seeking other executive positions will pay ₦3,500.

Students interested in contesting have been advised to complete their registration promptly and ensure compliance with all stipulated requirements, including attendance at the screening exercise, to avoid disqualification.

The election is expected to provide residents with the opportunity to elect representatives who will coordinate welfare, administration, and general affairs within the halls of residence for the academic session.
