Bowen University has secured a prestigious spot in the 2025 Times Higher Education (THE) Interdisciplinary Science Rankings (ISR), reaffirming its commitment to cutting-edge research and academic excellence.
The rankings, released on November 21, 2024, placed Bowen in the 501–600 bracket globally, earning it recognition as the 3rd best private university and 11th overall in Nigeria among over 270 institutions nationwide.
The ISR evaluates universities based on contributions to interdisciplinary science using 11 indicators across funding, research output, facilities, and reputation. Conducted in collaboration with Schmidt Science Fellows, the rankings highlight institutions addressing global challenges through integrated academic approaches.
This achievement underscores Bowen’s dedication to fostering collaboration, innovation, and impactful solutions, solidifying its position as a leader in Nigeria's higher education sector.
