Oghenedoro Godswill Avbunufe has emerged as the Best Graduating Student in Clinical Laboratory Science and Medical Technology at Bowen University, finishing with prestigious First Class Honours.

In addition to his overall departmental ranking, Avbunufe secured specialized awards as the Best Student in Histopathology and Cytology, solidifying his position as a leading academic talent in the medical sciences.

Reflecting on his journey, Oghenedoro noted a significant shift in his academic philosophy. He admitted that his initial approach focused on peer competition—a mindset he later discarded in favor of a deeper commitment to personal excellence.

"I no longer wanted just to be the best student; I wanted to be an excellent person and demonstrate excellence in all I do," he shared.
