A viral TikTok video shared by a student of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), identified as @dipsin1, has triggered widespread online debate over allegations of excessive disciplinary conduct by a lecturer.
The video, which began circulating on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, shows the visibly distressed student alleging that a faculty member confiscated his earring reportedly worth ₦500,000 and threw it away. In apparent protest, the student was seen tearing up his university identity card while announcing his decision to withdraw from the institution.
