Caleb University Hosts Inaugural Vice Chancellor’s Cup Celebrating Student Excellence in Sports and Academics

Caleb University Imota, Lagos, recently hosted its inaugural Vice Chancellor’s Cup, a prestigious event celebrating student achievements in sports, intellectual pursuits, and leadership. The tournament, which showcased outstanding talent and competitiveness among students from various departments, revealed a thrilling display of skill and sportsmanship.

The Department of Computer Science/Cyber Security emerged victorious in the tournament, claiming the championship title with an impressive total of 66 points. The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic, Prof Sunday Adewale, accompanied by Prof Nosa Owens-Ibie, praised the students and winners for their remarkable performance, highlighting their dedication and talent.

Football, being the world's most popular sport, drew significant attention and enthusiasm from participants and spectators alike, illuminating the university campus with excitement. In addition to football, other sporting events such as basketball, track and field, volleyball, and table tennis showcased the diverse athletic prowess of the students.
