Christian Forum Presents Ramadan Goodwill Package to FUE Zaria Vice-Chancellor

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, has received a Ramadan goodwill package from the Christian Community Forum of the University in a gesture underscoring interfaith harmony within the institution.

The delegation was led by the Forum’s Chairman, Dr. Tunde Adeshina, and included members of the Executive Council, the Forum’s Secretary, Mrs. Comfort L. Daudu, Mrs. Josephine Sule, and Dr. Onu David.

Presenting the package, Dr. Adeshina explained that the gift was offered on behalf of the University’s Christian staff to convey warm wishes to the Vice-Chancellor for a blessed and spiritually fulfilling Ramadan season. He noted that the gesture reflects the enduring values of mutual respect, understanding, and peaceful coexistence that characterize the University community, regardless of religious affiliation.

In his remarks, Prof. Bunkure expressed sincere appreciation to the Forum for what he described as a thoughtful and symbolic act of goodwill. He emphasized that the gesture embodies interfaith solidarity and reinforces the institution’s shared commitment to unity, peace, and cooperation.
