Coal City University Opens Admission for 2025/2026 JUPEB Programme

Coal City University (CCU), Enugu, has announced the commencement of admissions into its Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session, offering prospective students a direct pathway to 200-level degree programmes without the need for JAMB.

Coal City University (CCU), Enugu, has announced the commencement of admissions into its Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session, offering prospective students a direct pathway to 200-level degree programmes without the need for JAMB.

According to the University, the JUPEB Programme is specifically designed for candidates who have not written JAMB, those with low JAMB scores, or applicants seeking an alternative route to university admission. Successful candidates will, upon completion, be admitted directly into 200-level in various degree programmes at Coal City University.

The programme runs for one academic year and provides intensive, personalized education with a JUPEB-certified syllabus. To qualify, applicants are required to have a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at SSCE/WASSCE, GCE, or NECO examinations. The tuition fee for the programme is fixed at ₦200,000.

Highlighting its commitment to global standards, the University noted that it has partnership agreements with educational organizations locally and internationally, allowing students to access specialist facilities, lecturers, and study opportunities abroad. CCU partner institutions include universities in Australia, Canada, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
