College of Education and Legal Studies Nguru Announces Two-Week Ramadan Break, Sets Date for First Semester Exams

The Management of the College of Education and Legal Studies (COELS), Nguru, has officially approved a two-week Ramadan break for all students of the institution.

In a circular signed by the Senior Deputy Registrar (Establishment), Ibrahim Brambrah Mohammed, on behalf of the Registrar, the break is scheduled to run from Monday, 9th March to Sunday, 22nd March 2026.

The College Management clarified that the two-week period will be lecture-free, with normal academic activities set to resume on Monday, 23rd March 2026. Students are further advised to prepare for the following key dates in the academic calendar:

Post-Break Lectures: Monday, 23rd March to Saturday, 11th April 2026 (3 weeks).

First Semester Examinations: Monday, 13th April to Saturday, 25th April 2026.

The Provost, Prof. Ali Manzo Usman, through the Registrar's office, encouraged the college community to utilize the holy month of Ramadan for intensified devotion, worship, and reflection. He urged students and staff to seek divine guidance for the success and prosperity of the College, Yobe State, and the nation.

Students are enjoined to use the lecture-free period effectively to prepare for their upcoming examinations while observing the religious season.
