Crescent University Explores Digital Skills Partnership with iDICE Programme

Crescent University, Abeokuta, has welcomed representatives of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) Programme as part of efforts to create more opportunities for students and graduates to develop relevant digital skills and connect with emerging career opportunities.

The iDICE Liaison Officer for Ogun State, Mr Adefisoye A. Diligent, was received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Rasaki Kareem, alongside the Deputy Registrar, Student Affairs, Mrs K.O. Akande; Miss S.A. Akee, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity; and members of the Information Communication Technology Centre (ICTEC), including Mr Sulaimon Sikuola, Mr Okanlawon Gafar and Mr Gbolahan Ogunyemi.

The visit marked an important engagement between the University and the iDICE Programme and provided an opportunity to discuss the potential of the initiative in supporting digital capacity development among young people.

Discussions also focused on strengthening pathways from skills acquisition to employment in Nigeria’s growing technology and creative economy.

n building the capabilities of young Nigerians in digital and creative fields.
