CUSTECH: Engr Ohieku Commends Gov Ododo for Approving MBBS and Medical Courses

Engr Ohieku Muhammad Abdulsalam, Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal University of Health Sciences, Otukpo, and leader of the Ododo Mandate Steering Committee, has praised the administration of Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, for the recent approval of MBBS and other medical courses at the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara.

Engr Ohieku lauded Governor Ododo's unwavering dedication to enhancing the state's educational sector, building on the solid foundation laid by his predecessor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello. He highlighted the governor's resolve to elevate Kogi State’s institutions, making significant strides towards national development in various sectors.

With the approval of the new medical courses, Ohieku emphasized that CUSTECH is now on par with leading academic institutions across the country. He extended his congratulations to the governor, the university’s governing councils, students, and the entire Kogi community, expressing optimism about the institution’s growing reputation.

Engr Ohieku further commended the ongoing road network projects initiated by Governor Ododo, noting their pivotal role in improving transportation, boosting agricultural productivity, and fostering economic growth. He acknowledged the state’s efforts in supporting farmers with agrochemicals, which he believes will significantly enhance agricultural output and create new employment opportunities.
