 A member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) serving in Ebonyi State, identified as Tessy (@tesslure), has gone viral after showcasing 12 different certificates earned during her recently concluded service year. 

The corps member, a part of the 2024 Batch C Stream II, collected her certificates during the nationwide Passing-Out Parade (POP) held on Thursday, December 18, 2025. 

Professional Certification: While the standard Certificate of National Service (CNS) is issued to all deserving members, Tessy utilized her service year to enroll in multiple professional training programs and skill acquisition initiatives.

Diverse Qualifications: Her collection includes certificates in professional management, safety, and various vocational skills acquired through the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) program and other affiliated professional bodies.

Social Media Recognition: She shared her success on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, encouraging other corps members to view the service year as a platform for personal and professional growth rather than just a statutory requirement.

The December 18, 2025, POP was a low-key event held across all Local Government Areas in Nigeria, where thousands of corps members were officially discharged from service. The achievement by the Ebonyi-based corper has been hailed as an exemplary use of the service year, aligning with the NYSC's mission to equip youth with practical leadership and social skills.
